Empire Justice is a statewide, multi‐issue, multi‐strategy non‐profit law firm focused on changing the “systems” within which poor and low income families live. The focus of the position will be to represent low and middle income homeowners who are unable to meet current mortgage obligations and need legal assistance to avoid foreclosure.

Candidate shall also have excellent negotiation skills, a strong interest in working directly with clients, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate a keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy in handling data, strong leadership skills and strong organizational skills and adept at managing multiple priorities. Spanish language proficiency is preferred but not required. Salary is commensurate with experience and based on the organization’s salary scale.
