Division of Social Justice Environmental Protection Bureau Assistant Attorney General - New York City

The Environmental Protection Bureau in the New York State Office of the Attorney General (OAG) is seeking an experienced litigator for the New York City office. Applicants must have a minimum of (7) seven years of experience litigating environmental or comparable complex cases. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of federal and state environmental statutes, will have served as primary counsel in both federal and state court litigation, including cost recovery cases, and will have experience in every aspect of litigation, including initiation of litigation, discovery, motions, oral arguments, trials, and settlements. Excellent writing skills are required, and the applicant must have the ability to work well with client agencies. Commitment to public service is essential.
