Committee Chair: Renton Persuad
Associate, Catalano Gallardo & Petropoulos, LLP
Renton is a DBA director and chair of the Membership Committee. This committee shall (A) identify and recruit eligible candidates to join the Association, (B) keep track of and report on the status of the Association’s membership, and (C) perform such other tasks as the Board may request.
Renton is an associate at Catalano Gallardo & Petropoulos, LLP where he practices in the areas of construction law, medical malpractice, nursing home liability, legal malpractice, church and charitable institution liability, and premises liability. Prior to joining CG&P, Renton gained experience practicing in the areas of plaintiff’s personal injury, general litigation, criminal law, appellate practice, civil rights litigation, trusts and estates, and real estate. Renton is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association.
Renton graduated summa cum laude from St. John’s University and received his Juris Doctorate Degree from St. John's University School of Law as a Deans List Graduate. While in law school, Renton was a William J. Fitzpatrick Scholar and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review. He is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
Renton was elected to the Board of Directors of The Dominican Bar Association in 2015.
