Today, she is married to a first-generation American, and has two children, and together, they are proud to stand firmly on the strong shoulders of hard working immigrant families and continue their tradition of increasing opportunities for this generation and next generations. Raysa attended The College of Staten Island, where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Spanish, with a concentration in Public Administration. While in college, she founded the first Latin American Club and was active in Student Government. Ms. Castillo, who by then was married with two kids, was also an active participant in the movement to bring child-care to CUNY schools. Upon graduating college with a 3.79 average, and a 4.0 in her major, Ms. Castillo went on to study Law. Today, she is the chief attorney for Castillo and Associates, her law firm. |
