Bilingual volunteers needed for NY Congressional Primary on June 24

LatinoJustice PRLDEF is teaming up with the NALEO Educational Fund for the VE Y VOTA Election Protection Hotline & Pollsite Monitoring

LatinoJustice PRLDEF and NALEO Educational Fund are teaming up to provide nonpartisan election information and voter protection assistance via the 1-888-VE-Y-VOTA/1-888-839-8682 bilingual hotline which will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24th.

Volunteers can sign-up for 3 hour shifts on June 24th for starting at 6am.

Volunteers must attend a 90 minute overview on election protection and voting rights prior to volunteering on June 24th. LatinoJustice will be providing free Election Protection training during the week of June 16th. A tentative session is scheduled for Monday June 16th at 2pm in Hostos Community College in the Bronx. Evening sessions are also scheduled for June 17, 18 and 19th at either LatinoJustice PRLDEF or uptown in East Harlem and/or Washington Heights.
