Bio
Miguelina Camilo was born in the Dominican Republic. She immigrated to the United States with her parents in the late 1980’s.
Miguelina received her B.A. degree in Political Science from New York University in 2007 and her Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 2012. In law school, she was active in the Student Bar Association and Criminal Law Society.
From 2012 to 2015, Miguelina worked at the law office of Murray Richman, a criminal defense attorney in the Bronx. There, she handled both misdemeanor and felony matters as well as federal cases in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Since July 2016, Miguelina is principal at Camilo Law Firm, P.C. in the Bronx where her practice focuses on criminal defense, matrimonial and family court matters.
She is admitted to the New York and New Jersey bars.
Miguelina was elected to the Board of Directors of The Dominican Bar Association in 2014.
