This year, we will be joining the 2024 Spring Citizenship Event, "Become a Citizen: Opportunities Await," which will be held at John Jay College of Criminal Justice on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
On April 1, 2024, USCIS released a new version of the N-400 form. In preparation, we are hosting a live virtual training on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 6:00 - 9:00 pm.
At the training, we will review naturalization basics, how to fill out the new version of Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, and other critical updates to CUNY Citizenship Now! best practices for events. In advance of the training, CUNY Citizenship Now! will email you with preparatory materials and the Zoom link.
Attending this training is required in order to assist participants with their applications on Saturday, May 18th, 2024.
With the 2024 Presidential election year a few months away, interest in becoming a citizen is surging! The participants we help now have a good chance of being able to vote in the November elections. With your help, 250 permanent residents will be a step closer to taking advantage of all the opportunities citizenship offers. We hope you are able to join our efforts!
