US Legal Immersion Tour 2026

The Dominican Bar Association presents its USA Legal Immersion Tour 2026, an academic experience designed to provide participants with direct exposure to the United States legal system.

Taking place from October 13–15, 2026, in New York, this program is open to law students in their 3rd or 4th year, attorneys, and law professors in the Dominican Republic.

This tour offers participants the opportunity to:

• Visit the United Nations
• Participate in rotations through state and federal courts
• Visit the New York State Supreme Court and the Capitol in Albany, New York
• Engage in networking sessions with legal professionals

The program is designed to:

• Understand the differences between the legal systems of the United States and the Dominican Republic
• Observe judicial proceedings in real time within a common law system
• Learn about corporate and in-house legal practice
• Build connections with Dominican-American legal professionals

Registration is open through July 1, 2026. Space is limited.

Please note: Airfare, local transportation, meals, personal expenses, and lodging are not included. The program includes round-trip transportation to Albany, NY.
